"WOW" Sophie cried... "Whats the big deal?" I quiestioned facing the other way watching people enter the dark,dooming hydroslide. "Look at the humangus obstical course they are blowing up!" Dad, Mackenzie, Ashford, Sophie and I were at the Levin Aquatic Centre.
"Come on Madi, lets go line up so we can be first" Sophie suggested. "Good idea, I think the hardest part will be at the end when we have to climb up the yellow, wobbly mountian, what do you think?" Sophie thought when we come down the slide after the spider wall because it goes in two different directions and if you were not careful you fall into the water in the middle! I was starting to feel worried because I was going to be the second person do go, I could tell Sophie was worried, she was first. I looked over at the life-guard, he gave the thumbs up sign to Sophie... "AHH" groaned Sophie as she jumped on. I waited, the Life-Guard gave me the thumbs up sign... IT WAS MY TURN!
My feet got stuck as I went over the Spider-Wall, I stumbled down the slide, I rolled through the red tube, and gripped onto the old hanging rope as the life-guards sprayed frezzing cold water over me. Next up was the scary, wobbly, mean, yellow, bully like mountian! I seemed to have been waiting for me... I lunged myself over it, it wobbled so much I nearly fell off as I was sliding down. BANG! I landed in the warm pool below me! FINALLY 14 SECONDS OF COLDNESS WAS OVER! "Lets go again" Sophie and I both chanted!
Sadly after a few more goes it was time to go home. My fastest time was 11 seconds and Sophies was 15! We both had fun trying to get faster and faster each time!
Over all I cant wait till next time!
